STARSkate is Skate Canada’s figure skating program. This program is for skaters who have completed CanSkate Level 6. Proof of completion may be required to be accepted into STARSkate.

MULTI-SESSION DISCOUNTS

The more STARSkate sessions you add, the more you will receive off your registration fees. Our tiered discounts are:

Add two STARSkate sessions and receive $150 OFF your registration fees
Add all three STARSkate sessions and receive $335 OFF your registration fees

FAMILY DISCOUNT

If you have three or more participants enrolled in the CanSkate, Advanced CanSkate, and/or STARSkate program(s), there will be a discount of $100 OFF your invoice total for your third and further skaters. * Only a family's first two skaters pay full fees. Please note that this registration software will not assess this discount automatically. If you qualify for this discount, please choose "Confirm My Invoice" at checkout. We will revise the invoice and return it to you for payment.

SCHEDULE

The STARSkate season runs from Friday, October 18 to Friday, April 4
Regular Friday Afternoon STARSkate session times are 3:45 to 5:30 p.m.
Schedules for stroking and synchro sessions will be announced at a later date and may or may not be included in the Friday afternoon session.

SCHEDULE CHANGES

No Friday STARSkate for November 8, December 27, and January 3
November 15 - 3:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
March 28 - 3:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
April 4 - 3:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

ADDITIONAL FEES

NEW FOR 2024/25! Coaching Fees (paid monthly to Skate Humboldt) – $7.50 per 15-minute private lesson; $4.00 two skater semi-private; $2.75 three skater semi-private; $2.25 four skater semi-private
Other Coaching Fees - (paid directly to your coach) as determined by your coach, may include program preparation, competition attendance, etc.
Skate Canada Fee - $58.65 (includes insurance) paid until 31-Aug-2025
Skate Canada Saskatchewan Fee - $20 paid until 31-Aug-2025
Tech Recovery Fee - 2% of invoice total

The Tech Recovery Fee is a cost recovery fee to assist us in paying the costs to subscribe to this registration software. It is anticipated actual costs may be as high as 4%, so let's share the cost.
